Each July, the USDA releases updated guidelines to our TEFAP program. For July 2026, you are eligible to become a guest at the Newport AAC Food Pantry if:

You currently participate in any of the following programs:

  • Fuel Assistance
  • WIC – Woman, Infants, and Children
  • CSFP – Commodity Supplemental Food Program
  • TANF – Temporary Assistance to Needy Families
  • APTD – Aid to Permanently and Totally Disabled
  • Food Stamps / SNAP
  • Medicaid
  • City, County, or Town Welfare
  • Free & Reduced Price Lunches
  • Aid to the Needy Blind
  • Old Age Assistance
  • SSI – Supplemental Security Income
  • Rental Subsidy

Or: If you are homeless.

If you are not currently participating in one of those programs, you can still qualify based on income cap guidelines:

  • 3 – $65,568
  • 4 – $79,200
  • 5 – $92,832
  • 6 – $106,464
  • 7 – $120,096
  • 8 – $133,728
