What to do with beans and legumes? String beans, black beans, chickpeas…They just seem… boring, tasteless…yuck.
But bean salads are not only incredibly nutritious, but also can be very satisfying, filling, and delicious! Try these EASY and FAST ideas.
Add spices, dressing (oil and vinegar/ lemon or lime juice), salt, pepper – for perfection!
Important: If you choose dried beans or legumes, they MUST be soaked (and often cooked). Follow the package directions. Doing so will rehydrate them and drain the indigestible sugars which can upset your stomach.
