March Madness – without a Basketball & With Our Annual Report

While the cat sleeps, I am hard at work on our Pantry initiatives.

We just released our 2025 Annual Report. We are so thankful with what we achieved last year. Here are some highlights:

  • We are able to feed one of our neighbors for a week for $5.04! Through our supportive partners (the USDA and NH Food Bank), our generous in-kind donors (with an amazing amount of needed eggs!) and careful shopping, we are crushing the national average of $15 per person per week.
  • We served over 63,000 meals – and had over 3,000 appointments!
  • 97% of the funds we raised – and we raised a record of $122,000! – goes directly toward our mission of fighting food insecurity.

It’s been quite a year!

But there’s more to do:

  • Implement a volunteer recruitment and training program (more to come in April).
  • Initiate a wide outreach program so more of those who need us know we are here for them.
  • Institute new vehicles for donors to help us help others.

We are also completing some building upgrades & installing new shelving (thanks to a generous grant from the NSO!), collecting feedback from our guests, and planning for our summer at the Newport Farmer’s Market.

I suppose it’s time to put my feet up – the princess is demanding I give her attention. Bless you and thank you!
